The Palace: Reviews & Ratings
To be able to drink at a location where Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp frequented is awesome! Dog friendly back patio? Heck yes! Great historic location with an awesome story. As I walked in I was delightfully greeted by a cowboy in what I can only describe as a ten gallon hat. He saw me looking lost and asked in a thick Midwest accent, “Howdy, ma’am. May I help you?” Confused I looked around and saw the other servers dressed up in period garb. How fun!!! I was not expecting to be transported to the 1870s!! Bourbon and ryes are excellent here. Two page whiskey list. Try Madam Martha’s for sure. I wished I could have spent more time inside looking at all the neat historic memorabilia.
I liked the Western historical vibe. The wait staff was dressed in period getups. Nice and friendly. The beans were great and the flat iron steak was excellent.
The crystal palace is a great stop in Prescott. Vintage costumes worn by all and quite a lively atmosphere. The food is wonderful and the service exceptional
Stopped in for Taco Tuesday, $3 tacos and margaritas! Food and drinks were delicious. Great Old West atmosphere; like stepping back into the 1800s.
We visited with a large party and made a reservation, but arrived early. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The servers were dressed in themed outfits and the food came quickly. Christine was our server and she did a phenomenal job of taking care of the kids. The restaurant is on the Main Street across from the courthouse, but there was parking.
We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant/bar in Prescott. We stop there for a late lunch and the place was relatively busy. We had very good food and great service to boot. We tried their steak, burgers and a couple of appetizers. The shredded beef tacos were really good. Our server was extremely helpful and attentive. But I guess the main draw to this location must be the fact it’s well over 100 years old. The restaurant. Specially the bar area has its old saloon charm and it is very inviting. I highly recommend a visit to this place next time you visit Prescott.
Opened in 1877 The Palace is the oldest bar and business in the state of Arizona. Rebuilt in 1901 after a fire in 1900, it was able to save its original bar, gun safe and beer cooler. We sampled a few different items on the menu and everything was delicious. The wait staff is dressed in costumes of the 1800s and were all very nice. It has a dining room and a bar area, free parking on the street but also a parkade on the next street behind it. We will definitely eat here again when we return to the area.
We were in Prescott, AZ and found ourselves on Whiskey Row in the town area of Prescott. An old saloon, Palace was once frequented by Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and others. Palace was named one of the 10 best historic bars in America. Walking inside, you pass through saloon doors into the saloon bar area. There is also a dining room beyond the saloon area. There are stairs leading up to an area where the brothel would have been. At the top of the steps was a "lady of the night" to greet you, lol. The food and service was great and the staff was knowledgeable about the history of the saloon. If you ever make it to Prescott, AZ the Palace would be a great stop to make.
